Unstaffed Natural Grass Sports Fields

In case of inclement weather, fields may be closed due to unsafe playing surfaces and to prevent severe turf damage.

If field conditions change, field status changes will be posted by: 2pm (Monday-Friday) and 10am (weekends and holidays) for unstaffed fields.

Note: Teams playing before 10am on weekends and holidays should use their own discretion until the field status is updated.

Field closures due to rest or maintenance are not reflected in these notifications. Fields will have blue City of Edmonton closure signs posted on site if they are not open for use. To confirm if a field is closed for rest, please refer to the Sports Field Rest Schedule.
