Once a player has accepted a spot on a team, all fees and supporting cheques are required. 

Registration fee payment plans are available to all families.

Full Refund: Cancellations made within 14 days of registration will receive a full refund.
Partial Refund (50%): Cancellations made more than 14 days after registration and at least 30 days before the season start date will receive a 50% refund.

No Refund:
If a cancellation is made less than 30 days before the season start date.
If registration occurs less than 30 days before the season start date and subsequently cancelled.

Medical Exemptions: Cancellations due to medical reasons that arise after the player has been registered in the Grassroots Program may be eligible for a refund. A letter from a licensed medical doctor must be provided. Please note that letters from chiropractors or psychologists will not be accepted.

General Notes: We understand that personal circumstances may change, but our refund policy is necessary to ensure the smooth operation and planning of our club. Withdrawals from teams after accepting a position create challenges for both the club and the team, as it is difficult to replace players at short notice. Therefore, the outlined policy will be strictly enforced.

n registering with or participating in the Edmonton Drillers Youth Soccer Club (“the Club”), I acknowledge that participation in soccer and related activities involves inherent risks of injury, illness, property damage, or other loss. These risks may arise from, but are not limited to, physical contact, weather conditions, equipment failure, facilities, travel, supervision, or the actions or inactions of participants, officials, volunteers, or spectators. I understand and acknowledge that these risks apply to all activities connected to my or my child’s involvement in the Club, whether occurring on or off the soccer field, court, gym, or other facility. I hereby voluntarily assume all risks associated with participation in any activity related to the Edmonton Drillers Youth Soccer Club. I agree to release, waive, and hold harmless the Edmonton Drillers Youth Soccer Club, its directors, officers, employees, volunteers, coaches, managers, officials, sponsors, organizers, promoters, facilities, and all other persons or entities associated with the Club from any and all claims, demands, actions, causes of action, damages, costs, or expenses arising from injury, illness, death, or property loss suffered by me or my child, whether caused by negligence or otherwise, to the fullest extent permitted by law. This release applies not only to club-sanctioned activities, including practices, games, tryouts, and club-approved events, but also to any activities, events, or gatherings organized or participated in by team officials, coaches, managers, volunteers, players, or parents, whether or not such activities are formally sponsored, sanctioned, approved, or supervised by the Edmonton Drillers Youth Soccer Club. I confirm that I, or my son/daughter, am physically fit and able to participate in soccer activities and that no medical condition exists that would prevent safe participation, except as disclosed to the Club in writing. I understand that wearing of shin pads during play is mandatory and agree that I am solely responsible for ensuring that shin pads are worn properly during all play, practices, and games. If I am not the biological parent or legal guardian of the participant, I represent and warrant that I have been authorized by the participant’s parent or legal guardian to sign this waiver on their behalf. I agree that if this representation is untrue, I assume full responsibility and liability for any claims arising from the participant’s involvement and agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Edmonton Drillers Youth Soccer Club and its directors, officers, employees, volunteers, and representatives from any such claims. I have read and understood this waiver and release of liability and sign it freely and voluntarily, intending to be legally bound by its terms.
